Damage Resistance Stat in Cookie Run: Kingdom
Damage Resistance reduces the amount of damage a Cookie takes from enemy attacks. For instance, if a Cookie has 30% DMG Resistance, and the enemy inflicts 100,000 damage, the damage will be reduced by 30%.
100,000×30%=30,000
That means the Cookie will take 70,000 damage instead of the full 100,000, thanks to the 30% Damage Resistance.
You can increase a Cookie’s Damage Resistance stat through Solid Almond Toppings, Almond Topping Tarts, and Beascuits that offer DMG Resistance.
Damage Resistance Bypass Stat in Cookie Run: Kingdom
DMG Resistance Bypass allows your Cookie to ignore a portion of the enemy’s Damage Resistance. Let’s say the enemy Cookie has 50% DMG Resistance. Normally, your 100,000 damage attack would only deal 50,000 damage after that reduction(50% DMG Resistance). With DMG Resistance Bypass, you can counter Cookies with high resistance stats. For example:
- Your Cookie: 20% DMG Resistance Bypass
- Enemy Cookie: 50% DMG Resistance
- 20% of 50% = 10% (this is the net amount being bypassed)
The enemy’s effective DMG Resistance becomes:
50%−10%=40%
So your attack is now reduced by 40% instead of 50%, dealing 60,000 damage instead of 50,000.
Here’s the table showcasing the final DMG taken when you inflict 100,000 DMG to an enemy Cookie(with DMG Resistance and DMG Resistance Bypass Stats):

You can attain DMG Resistance Bypass through Beascuits with DMG Resist Bypass Stats.
After all calculations, the maximum amount of DMG Resist a Cookie can have is 90% (95% for enemies in non-PvP content).
