Read on for the Pokémon Indigo Disk Trade Codes Wiki Guide.
In the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Indigo Disk DLC, players are tasked to finish the Blueberry Pokédex. To accomplish this, you must obtain version-exclusive Pokémon, a common feature in every Pokémon generation that isn’t accessible in your game version. The workaround? Utilize designated trade codes in online trades. This approach enables you to acquire Pokémon exclusive to the opposite game version by trading, an essential strategy for those aspiring to complete their Pokédex without having both versions of the game.

What are Pokémon Indigo Disk Trade Codes?
In each Pokémon generation, like Scarlet and Violet, there are two versions, each with its own exclusive Pokémon. Instead of buying both games, players can use trade codes as a strategic option. These codes allow players to trade for the exclusive Pokémon from the opposite version, making it easier and more collaborative for everyone to complete their Pokédex using these codes.
But using these codes doesn’t guarantee that you’ll immediately get the Pokémon you want. That’s because other Pokémon trainers are also trading for the Pokémon they desire. If you don’t get the Pokémon you’re looking for, simply end the trade and try again until you succeed.
How to Use Pokémon Indigo Disk Trade Codes:
To use Pokémon Indigo Disk Trading Codes, make sure you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription and are in Online Mode. Follow these steps:
1. Press X to open the Main Menu and choose ‘Poké Portal.’
2. Select Link Trade from the left menu under Tera Raid Battle.
3. Highlight ‘Set Link Code’ and input the trade code for the specific Pokémon exchange you want.
4. Click ‘Begin Searching’ to connect with another player.
5. Once paired, review the trade. If they have the Pokémon you need, proceed with the trade.
