Zombie Fortress Trap Defense Guides & Tips

Zombie Fortress Trap Defense is a tower defense game for mobile published by renowned publisher NLABSOFT.

The Basics

The game has several stages; at each stage, you face waves of enemies hailing from the top areas to raid your base. At the start of each stage, you get some coins to spend on the weapon units or traps. Your coins are limited, so be careful while spending them. You can spend on weapons or traps or reroll the tower shop stock with the coins. After you buy the weapons or traps, put them in the field in such a way they protect the base from the zombies. The game rewards you cash depending on the number of waves you clear. You can spend cash on the permanent upgrades at the stage selection screen.

Placing The Units

When buying units, please pay attention to their attributes, such as attack, HP, and speed. Some units, like Fly Swatter, have good HP stats but lack DMG like Catapult. While some units, like Catapult, are good at inflicting DMG, they lack HP and can easily be torn off. I recommend placing the high ATK and low HP stat units like the Catapult in the back, while those with high HP and defensive/trap ones should be placed in the front.

The Coins

At each wave clear, you get more coins. With coins, you can buy more units or upgrade the commander. At the bottom of the stage screen, you have three options: commander, gold amount, and shop. Tap the commander icon to see its stats; you must upgrade the commander to increase tower slots. The more tower slots you have, the more units you can place. I recommend stocking up the units to their max for the initial waves and then making upgrades to the commander and gold amount reward.

Watch The Video Ads For More Cash

At the end result, you get to claim the cash – the amount of cash you get depends on the number of waves you clear. You can increase the cash reward by watching the video ad.

The Cash

Tap the upgrade button in the lower right on the stage selection screen. You can spend the cash on ATK, HP, or reward upgrades. All three are essential; with a reward upgrade, you get more rewards. HP upgrade increases the HP stats of the units. An ATK upgrade increases the ATK attribute of the units. I recommend spending in a balanced manner: ATK/Reward > HP.
