The following (ARX) Anime Rangers X tier list ranks the Rangers into the following tiers:
- God Tier – The Best Units
- Meta DPS – These units are the best damage dealers
- Alternative DPS – Alternative to meta DPS units
- Ultimates – Units with exceptional ultimates
- Rushers – Units that play well in this role
- Support – Units with good supportive abilities
- Cheap DPS – Not great, but cheaper
- Recommended Team – The general good to go team

ARX Tier List: Best Units For Beginners
If you are a newbie, try getting these units through summons. These units are ideal for the initial stages and will provide significant assistance.
- Dio (The Legendary Rarity) – has an evo line to ranger, 1st Priority
- Sung Jinwoo / King of Shadows – has 3 evos, 2nd Priority
- Yoruichi / Thunder Goddess – 3rd Priority
- Johnny / Fingernail Saint –has an evo, Needed for Dio OH Quest
- Gyro / Master of Spin – has an evo, needed for Dio OH Quest
- Giorno / Golden Will – has an evo, Support
- Delta / Feral Fang – Rusher
- Saber / Knight King – has an evo, Rusher
- Denji / Chainsaw Devil – has an evo, Rusher

| Stat Keys + Cursed Fingers + Gems | Challenges | Very low clear times (often under 10s). Strongest farm alternative after Dungeon. |
| Battlepass XP + XP Food + Gold | Ghoul City Act 10 (Nightmare) & Ghoul Portals | Use Rusher team. Sell portals for gold, or clear them for better Battlepass XP. |
| Dr. Megga Punks | Swarm Event / Gold Merchant | Swarm Event = fast clears with extra loot. Gold Merchant = cheap & restocks hourly. |
| Perfect Stat Keys | Gold Merchant | Extremely cheap, restocks hourly. Best guaranteed method. |
