Leaderboard Core (Always Required)

These four units are mandatory for leaderboard runs — they cover support, nukes, healing, and unique utility.

  • Amu – Best support in the game; brings an instant-kill nuke and unmatched utility.
  • Joker – Revival, top-tier DPS, three nukes, and a versatile support kit.
  • Cid – Two nukes, strong damage, and crucial healing (needed for Execution Squad setups or Salvation scaling). Also provides Atomic Radar.
  • Chriss – Reliable instant-kill nuke plus supportive RNG skills. With Athiel, delivers one of the strongest % nukes in the game, and pairs perfectly with Gappy for instant wipes.

Meta Nukes

Not judged just by raw nukes — their categories, passives, and consistency all matter.

  • Eren – Buffed massively with Destroyer, better damage, and tankier summons (though still lacks Obliterator).
  • MadaraTrue Crit passive (5×, ignores element) makes him scale hard with summon levels; rivals Joker’s damage post-revive. Two nukes as well.
  • Saitama – Always reliable and straightforwardly strong.
  • Beerus – Category leader for many LB staples, with good DPS and an instant-kill nuke.
  • Kira – Double threat: instant-kill nuke plus a single-target instakill ability. Best used after the main nukes.
  • Shinji (Evangelion) – Top DPS with Salvation passive (strongest passive in-game). Nuke is very powerful but comes late and wipes your own field, so it’s usually the final play.
  • Execution Squad Leader – Shares Salvation passive and has an instant-kill nuke, but requires massive HP (500Q+) to use — only viable with Cid support.
  • Gappy – Provides a stall and a reliable nuke; can kill 6Q HP enemies with team follow-up. Paired with Chriss’s Athiel, it becomes a true insta-kill.
  • Nyx – Great DPS and nuke, but lacks element advantage in any matchup.
  • Castorice – Strong DPS, supportive skills, and solid nuke.
  • Gilgamesh – Great DPS and support. Nuke is usually fired first, so ranked lower in importance.
  • All Might – Devastating single-use nuke for early waves, but blocked if Castorice’s ability is already active.
  • Shinji (Bleach) – Once dominant, now weaker after HP cap removal. Still serviceable, just not essential.

Niche – Map / Enemy / Element Dependent

Only worthwhile if conditions line up (perfect AoE coverage, buffs, and favorable element). Otherwise, not recommended.

  • Azien – Still the highest DPS in the game and also brings support.
  • Guts – Recently buffed, improved performance.
  • Sakura – Useful in summoner builds, boosting Eren’s titans through Tamer.

Meta Support

  • Core supportive units remain unchanged; their value is obvious and universal.

Farms

  • Not required for weekly LB. Higher waves generate enough money to max everything and still leave large amounts unused (20M+ spare).

Substitutes

Budget or fallback picks if you don’t own the top unobtainables.

  • Kurumi & Morgan – Budget versions of Amu and Joker.
  • Zanto – Alternative for Dr. Dream.
  • Railgun – Another Dr. Dream substitute.

So this is all I have in this post on Anime World Tower Defense Tier List. Assuming the game gets regular updates, there will be new units. And the tier list will change over time with the updates. I will try to keep the tier list updated with latest changes and additions.
