Build a Ring Farm Mutations and Multipliers

Mutations in Build a Ring Farm are special effects that can massively increase the value of your crops. When a plant receives a mutation, its appearance changes and its income multiplier increases depending on the mutation type.

Some mutations can only be obtained during limited-time events, while others can also be applied using sprays purchased from the Gear Shop. Below is the full mutation list along with their multipliers, appearances, and unlock methods.

Mutations in Build a Ring Farm cannot stack — a plant can only have one mutation at a time. And, you must be online during events for mutations to apply to the plants.

List of Build a Ring Farm Mutations and Multipliers

Wet

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 1.35x.
• Plants get a water-like look.
• Has an 8% chance to appear during the Rain Event.
• Can also be applied with the Wet Spray from the Gear Shop for $10M.

Frozen

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 1.75x.
• Plants appear frozen.
• Has a 4% chance to appear during the Blizzard Event.
• Can be applied with the Frozen Spray from the Gear Shop for $750M.

Autumn

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 2x.
• Plants get a brownish appearance.
• Has a 3.5% chance to appear during the Autumn Event.
• Can be applied with the Autumn Spray from the Gear Shop for $850M.

Void

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 2.25x.
• Plants get a black appearance.
• Has a 3% chance to appear during the Black Hole Event.
• Can be applied with the Void Spray from the Gear Shop for $1B.

Radioactive

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 3x.
• Plants gain a green neon appearance.
• Has a 2% chance to appear during the Nuclear Event.
• Can be applied with the Radioactive Spray from the Gear Shop for $10B.

Alien

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 3.25x.
• Has a 2.5% chance to appear during the Alien Event.

Farm

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 4x.
• Has a 1.5% chance to appear during the Trucker Event.

Starfall

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 4x.
• Stacks with any other mutation already on the plant.
• Plants get a starfall visual effect.
• Applied by the Starfall Griffin pet.
• The pet has an 18% chance per proc at max upgrade.
• Starfall Griffin is a limited Divine pet that costs 1,000 Robux.

Rainbow

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 5x.
• Plants have a dynamic appearance, with colors changing regularly.
• Has a 1% chance to appear during the Galaxy Event.
• Can be applied with the Rainbow Spray from the Gear Shop for $1T.

Admin

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 5x.
• Only obtainable during Build a Ring Farm Admin Abuse.

Honeycomb

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 6.5x.
• Has a 0.5% chance to appear during the Queen Bee Event.

Cosmic

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 8x.
• Plants get a cosmic visual effect.
• Cannot be obtained through weather events.
• Can be applied with the Cosmic Spray from the Gear Shop for $25T.
• The spray has limited stock and is restocked periodically.
• It can also be bought from the Plant Rush Shop for 25,000 Plant Tokens.
• It can also drop as a rare reward from the Plant Rush boss on Wave 4.

Bubblegum

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 9x.
• Can be applied with the Bubblegum Spray from the Gear Shop for $250T.

Carnival

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 9.5x.
• Can be applied with the Carnival Spray.
• The Carnival Spray is obtainable from the Spray Crate.

Fire

• Increases the income of all the plant’s units by 10x.
• This is currently the highest multiplier in the game.
• Can be applied with the Fire Spray from the Gear Shop for $1qd. 

Mutations are one of the best ways to increase profits in Build a Ring Farm, especially when stacked on high-tier crops. Event-exclusive mutations like Rainbow and Honeycomb are much rarer, but they also provide some of the highest income boosts in the game.
