Catch and Tame Boss Pets Spawn Locations & How to Get Them

Catch and Tame Boss Pets Guide

Boss Pets are some of the strongest and rarest companions you can obtain in Catch and Tame. Unlike regular pets, Boss Pets require players to defeat powerful boss creatures before they can be tamed. Most bosses are designed for multiple players, but with the right enchantment, you can catch them completely solo.

If you’re planning to farm Boss Pets efficiently, make sure you bring your best lasso, fishing rod, bobber, and bait. Having strong gear will make boss encounters much easier, especially when attempting tougher endgame bosses.

How Boss Pets Work

Normally, Boss Pets require at least two players. After defeating the boss, every participating player receives the Boss Pet as a reward. This means you do not have to compete with teammates for the pet drop.

For players who prefer private servers or solo play, there is a special enchantment that removes the need for a second player.

How to Catch Boss Pets Solo in Catch and Tame

The Boss Catcher enchant allows you to defeat and capture Boss Pets without assistance. Once applied to your Lasso, you can handle boss encounters entirely on your own.

  • Allows solo boss captures.
  • Ideal for private server players.
  • Removes the requirement of having a partner.

Alternative Enchant Table Location

A second Enchanting Table can be found on Cave Island.

  • Travel to Cave Island.
  • Enter the cave tunnels.
  • Search for 5 hidden TNT sticks attached to the tunnel walls.
  • Collect all 5 TNTs.
  • Place them into the TNT slots near the blocked passage.
  • The explosion will open a hidden area.
  • Inside you’ll find another Enchanting Table.

Tips for Farming Boss Pets

  • Prioritize obtaining the Boss Catcher enchant if you play solo.
  • Upgrade your Lasso before attempting late-game bosses.
  • Forgotten Depths contains multiple whale bosses, making it one of the best locations for endgame pet farming.
  • Keep an eye on limited-time weather events for exclusive bosses such as the Alien Skeleton Boss.
  • Alabaster Whale is unique because it must be caught through fishing rather than traditional boss combat.

Once you unlock Boss Catcher, farming Boss Pets becomes much easier since you can clear every encounter on your own without waiting for other players to help.
