Cursed Gear Tier List
Here’s the tier list for Cursed Gear ranking the clans:
- S Tier: Best
- A Tier: Good
- B Tier: Decent
- C Tier: Okayish/Average
- D Tier: Meh
Clans in the game provide different passive bonuses that can significantly impact your performance in both PvP and PvE. Some clans offer powerful combat advantages such as increased damage, lifesteal, or technique energy regeneration, while others provide utility bonuses like faster leveling or improved survivability.
Because of this, certain clans are considered far stronger than others, especially in competitive environments. Below is a tier-based breakdown of all clans, including their passives, buffs, and overall usefulness in combat and progression.
Cursed Gear Clan Tier List and Passives
Heavenly Restriction Clan – Niche
This is a special clan that works very differently from every other option in the game.
- Removes access to Jujutsu abilities.
- Disables Cursed Techniques and Black Flash.
- In exchange, you gain powerful physical abilities.
- You can still use cursed tools to fight.
Nier – S Tier (Royal)
- Gain +50 Cybernetic Load Cap.
- Automatically adds an upgrade to all equipped Cybernetics.
- The effect does not exceed the maximum upgrade cap of 3.
This clan dramatically increases the number of cybernetics you can stack, making it one of the strongest options for late-game builds. The automatic upgrade system also saves a large amount of resources that would otherwise be spent upgrading implants.
Gojo – S Tier (Royal)
- Start with 5 Cursed Technique points.
- Gain increased Technique Energy and faster regeneration.
Gojo provides incredible uptime for Cursed Techniques, allowing players to use powerful abilities much more frequently. Starting with extra CT points also gives a strong advantage during early progression and PvP encounters.
Itadori – S Tier (Unique)
- Landing hits without taking damage increases Flow stacks.
- Guard Breaks grant 2 stacks.
- M2 attacks or Charged M1 grant 1 stack.
- Devastating Strike grants 2 stacks.
- Taking damage resets all stacks.
- At 7 stacks, a guaranteed True Black Flash triggers within 3 seconds.
This clan allows players to force a True Black Flash, one of the most powerful combat mechanics in the game. In skilled hands, it becomes a devastating tool for winning duels and dominating high-level PvP fights.
Zenin – A Tier Overall (Royal), S Tier against Non-Royal Clans
- Deals 8% increased damage to non-royal clans.
- Takes 3% more damage from royal clans.
The damage bonus applies to most players in the game, making Zenin extremely strong for grinding rankings or fighting in normal servers. The penalty against other royal clans rarely matters unless facing top-tier opponents.
Kamo – A Tier (Royal)
- M1 attacks grant lifesteal.
- Restores 0.03% max HP per hit (0.5x with swords).
This clan excels in long fights, especially melee duels where constant hits allow you to slowly recover health. It is also very effective for solo boss fights where sustained healing makes survival easier.
Kashimo – A Tier (Unique)
- Attacks have a 10% chance to apply Shock.
- Shock effect has a 6-second cooldown.
The Shock status interrupts enemy actions, breaking combos and creating opportunities to counterattack. This makes Kashimo particularly useful in team fights or against bosses with strong defenses.
Panda – A Tier (Unique)
- Consume bamboo during expeditions to restore 2% max HP.
- Gain 6% passive damage reduction.
Panda offers strong survivability thanks to its constant damage reduction. Combined with bamboo healing, it becomes a reliable option for long expeditions and difficult combat encounters.
Crow – B Tier (Rare)
- Devastating Strike ignores the damage cap.
This allows certain physical builds to exceed normal damage limits and deal extremely high burst damage. However, it is more situational compared to higher-tier clans.
Amai – B Tier (Unique)
- M1 and M2 attacks deal 10% less damage.
- All other attacks deal 10% more damage.
Amai is best suited for builds that rely heavily on abilities rather than melee attacks. Players focusing on skill rotations can take full advantage of the bonus damage.
Todo – B Tier (Unique)
- Character becomes slightly larger.
- Gain a small stat boost including +5% Physicality and Durability.
This clan helps players reach higher attribute grades earlier, making it a decent option for tanky or strength-based builds.
Eve – B Tier (Rare)
- Gain increased EXP from activities.
Eve is mainly used for leveling efficiency. It allows players to reach the endgame level cap and upgrade attributes faster than most other clans.
Storm – C Tier (Rare)
- Deal 15% increased damage while in Windswept Cove.
While the damage bonus is strong, it only works in a single map area, which greatly limits its overall usefulness.
Hazenoki – C Tier (Rare)
- Sword M1 and M2 deal 10% increased damage.
- Take 10% more posture damage.
The posture penalty causes frequent guard breaks during combat, which can quickly turn fights against you.
Yoshino – C Tier (Rare)
- M1 attacks grant +5 movement speed for 7 seconds.
The movement bonus is fairly weak because the Dexterity attribute already provides similar mobility improvements.
Nishimiya – C Tier (Unique)
- Damage increases as HP decreases.
- Maximum bonus reaches 10% damage.
This comeback mechanic requires staying at low health, which is risky in the current high-damage meta where players can be defeated very quickly.
