Traits are one of the most important unit upgrades in Defend Your Base With Anime. They add permanent buffs to a unit such as increased damage, range, cash gain, critical chance, or cooldown reduction. Unlike mutations, traits are rolled separately using Trait Shards and can significantly change a unit’s overall performance.
Each unit can only have one trait at a time, and the trait is applied through the trait rolling system using Trait Shards.
What Are Traits?

- It has an extremely low drop chance of 0.02%.
