How to get all fighting styles in Haze Seas [V1 and V2]

Here is the guide to getting all fighting styles of both V1 and V2 variants in Haze Seas Roblox. Find out the requirements you must meet for each fighting style.

Fighting Styles are one of the main combat systems in Haze Seas. Every style has its own moveset, can be upgraded to a stronger V2 version, and levels up through the Mastery system. While all V1 Fighting Style trainers can be found on the Starter Island in Sea 1, their V2 upgrades are unlocked later in Sea 3 through a special NPC.

How to Unlock All V1 Fighting Styles

All V1 Fighting Style trainers are located on the Starter Island in Sea 1. Simply visit the appropriate trainer and pay the required cost to unlock the style.

• Fishman

How to Unlock Fighting Style V2

Once you reach Sea 3, speak with the Sage of Combat NPC. This NPC upgrades every Fighting Style to its V2 version, provided you meet all the requirements. If you’re missing anything, the NPC will tell you exactly what you still need.

Every Fighting Style requires:

• 300 Mastery on its V1 version.
• The required upgrade material.
• The upgrade fee.

Blackleg V2

• 300 Blackleg Mastery.
• 2 Phantom Lanterns (100% Ghost Ship drop).
• 5,000,000 Money.

Fishman V2

• 300 Fishman Mastery.
• 2 Sea Beast Hearts (25% drop from Sea Beasts in Sea 2 and Sea 3).
• 5,000,000 Money.

Electro V2

• 300 Electro Mastery.
• 2 Raijin’s Cores (100% Raijin/Enel Boss drop).
• 500 Gems.

Cyborg V2

• 300 Cyborg Mastery.
• 2 Saturn’s Rings (100% Saturn Boss drop).
• 5,000,000 Money.

Dragon Claw V2

• 300 Dragon Claw Mastery.
• 2 Dragon Hearts (100% Dragon Hybrid Boss drop).
• 500 Gems.

• Thunderlord — Unlock Electro V2.

Skill Unlock Mastery Requirements

Every Fighting Style, Fruit, and Sword starts with its first skill already unlocked. The remaining abilities become available as your Mastery increases.

• Z + F Skills — Available immediately (0 Mastery).
• X Skill — 25 Mastery.
• C Skill — 50 Mastery.
• V Skill — 75 Mastery.
• B Skill — 100 Mastery.
• E Skill — 125 Mastery.
• N Skill — 150 Mastery (currently available only on Gum and Dragon).
• P Skill — 175 Mastery (currently available only on Gum).

How to Gain Mastery EXP

You earn Mastery EXP simply by using your Fighting Style against enemies. Stronger enemies reward significantly more EXP, making boss farming the fastest leveling method.

• M1 Attack — 0.1 EXP.
• Using a Skill — 1 EXP.
• Defeating an NPC — 2 EXP.
• Defeating a Boss — 10 EXP.
• Defeating a Super Boss — 150 EXP.

If an NPC or Boss is more than 200 levels below your character, you’ll only receive 20% of the normal Mastery EXP. The same penalty also applies to Super Bosses once you greatly outlevel them.

Maximum Mastery

The current Mastery cap for every Fighting Style is 500. Every two Mastery levels grant one additional stat point for that combat category, allowing you to earn up to 250 bonus stat points by reaching the maximum level.

Mastery EXP Formula

• If your Mastery is below 125:
  • EXP Required = 4 + floor(Mastery ÷ 20)
• If your Mastery is 125 or higher:
  • The EXP required per level continues to increase progressively.
