You can make it Foggy Night using the Sundial Totem and Smokescreen Totem. The lever appears once you give the Sea Turtle to the Sea Traveler NPC on Terrapin Island.
Locate the Sea Traveler NPC
Head to Terrapin Island and locate the Sea Traveler (he is on the left/back side of the island, between the trees). Give him the Sea Turtles, and he will give you the Sea Traveler Note. The process requires you to retalk to Sea Traveler multiple times. Use the Sea Traveler’s Note to get the Coordinates.
Lever Hidden?
To get into the Cultist Lair, you need to activate the lever, which appears during the Foggy Night. You will be able to see it (the green, shiny lever) during the foggy night. You can use a Sundial Totem and a Smokescreen Totem to make the foggy night. Once it appears, head there (it’s inside the hidden passage behind the tree, as shown in the picture above).

Step 1: Obtain the Sea Traveler Note
Travel to Terrapin Island and locate the Sea Traveler NPC at coordinates 151, 150, 2033. Speak to him several times until he hints at a hidden secret. Next, catch a Sea Turtle from the Terrapin Bestiary. With the turtle in hand, talk to the NPC again. He’ll reward you with the Sea Traveler Note, revealing the coordinates to the Cultist Lair.
Step 2: Locate the Terrapin Hideaway
Use your GPS and head to 0, 150, 2000. Once there, find the Sea Traveler NPC on the backside of Terrapin Island. From his spot, climb up the nearby rocks until you discover a leaf-covered cave—this is the Terrapin Hideaway, the secret tunnel leading to the Cultist Lair.
The entrance blends with the terrain, so keep an eye out for areas that faintly glow or look out of place compared to the surroundings.
Step 3: Unlock the Cultist Lair
