Paradox Item List & Guide
Paradox has a wide range of items tied to progression, rerolls, builds, and farming. If you don’t know where to get something or what it actually does, it’s easy to waste time grinding the wrong content. This guide breaks everything down clearly so you know exactly what to farm and why.
All Items, Uses & How to Get Them
Consumable Items (Core Progression Items)
- These are the most important items for building and upgrading your character:
- Ability Reroll
- Rerolls your power type (Shikai, Bankai, Res, etc.)
- Obtained from:
- Market NPC (Karakura Town)
- Eternal Flame Trials, Ranked, Raids
- Bosses, Time Portals, Boss Portals, Codes
- Clan Reroll
- Changes your clan and its buffs
- Same sources as Ability Reroll
- Special Weapon Reroll
- Rerolls your weapon type for abilities
- Same drop sources as above
- Stat Reset
- Resets all stat points and removes related skills
- Useful when changing builds
- The Holy Grail
- Grants +3 stat points
- Limited use per slot
- Vizard Mask Reroll
- Rerolls Vizard mask variant (Soul Reapers only)
- Partial Remnant
- Rerolls Arrancar Resurrection variant
- Ability Reroll
Progression & Evolution Items
- These items are required to unlock transformations and power-ups:
- Hogyoku
- Needed for Full Resurrection (Arrancar)
- Crafted by combining 15 Shattered Hogyoku at Inori NPC
- Shattered Hogyoku
- Main crafting material for Hogyoku
- Obtained from:
- Missions, Raids, Bosses
- Time Portals, Eternal Flame Trials
- Mask Remnant
- Required to unlock Vizard (Soul Reaper)
- Found mainly in Eternal Flame Trials
- Hogyoku
Skill Roll Items
- Used to unlock skill cards based on your build:
- Skill Crystal
- Reveals up to 2 skill cards
- Skill Gem
- Reveals up to 3 skill cards
- Skill Core
- Reveals up to 5 skill cards
- All are obtained from:
- Raids, Bosses, Missions
- Kisuke Fight
- Skill Crystal
Talent & Reset Items
- These affect your talent system and character slots:
- Whispering Willow
- Used to roll Talents via Inori NPC
- Obtained from leveling, Boss Portals, Eternal Flame Trials
- Wipe Essence
- Resets your entire character slot
- Buy from Market NPC (50,000 Yen) or rare code reward
- Whispering Willow
Other Utility Items
- These items provide customization or minor utility:
- Bankai Outfit Reroll
- Changes your Bankai appearance
- Weapon Skin Reroll
- Unlocks a new weapon skin
- Shikai Call Reroll
- Changes your Shikai voice line permanently
- Gender Swap
- Switches your character gender
- Soul Shard
- Used to restore a soul (limited info currently)
- Bankai Outfit Reroll
Accessories (Stat Boost Items)
- Accessories increase your stats and are essential for stronger builds:
- You can equip one item per slot (hat, mask, torso, etc.)
- Obtained from:
- Boss fights
- Missions
- Ranked and Eternal Flame Trials
- Mythical accessories are the rarest and strongest
DNA (Clan Items)
- DNA items are used to change your clan:
- Common: No stat boost
- Rare: Moderate stat boost
- Legendary: Highest stat boost
- Using DNA replaces your current clan completely.
Banking & Storage
- You can store items using the Bank NPC in Karakura Town:
- Located at the school
- Use UI overlay (“,” or L1 + L2) to find NPCs
- Important:
- Only certain consumables can be banked
- Accessories and DNA items cannot be stored
Trading & Market Info
- There is currently no trading system in the game.
- Market NPC details:
- Located in Karakura Town near Eternal Flame Trials portal
- Uses Yen as currency
- Stock refreshes every few hours
Understanding where items come from is key to progressing faster. Focus on Raids, Bosses, and Eternal Flame Trials for most high-value drops, and use the Market wisely to fill in the gaps.
