Prospecting Shovels Guide
In Prospecting!, Shovels are your primary tool for digging up sediment, which you’ll then pan to discover valuable minerals. Shovels work hand-in-hand with Pans, and most can be purchased from various Shopkeepers scattered throughout the game.
Each shovel comes with three key attributes that impact your digging efficiency:
1. Dig Strength
- Refers to how much sediment is collected each time you use the shovel.
- Higher strength = more sediment per dig.
2. Dig Speed
- Affects how quickly you can dig.
- Faster speed = shorter delay between digs.
3. Toughness
- Determines where your shovel can be used.
- Some tougher deposits (like hardened ground) require higher toughness to dig through.
