Epic Merge

Epic Merge is a mobile game published by iKame Games – Zego Studio. The game features 15 chapters(as per the current version) – each chapter is packed with challenging stages, unique monsters, and boss fights. The gameplay is fun, and game mechanics are easy to understand: you merge the two same items to level them up and raise your offense power and buff abilities. Once you are done merging, you can start the battle and fight enemies. Each next chapter unlocks a new world packed with unique monsters and bosses. Below, I have shared some Epic Merge tips and guides for beginners.

Epic Merge Reroll Guide

Rerolling costs stars; sometimes, you can watch the video ads to reroll the items. When you reroll, you get a different set of items. There are weapons, pouches, healing potions, etc. You can merge weapons and deploy them to one of the available slots. Weapons strike the enemies. Pouches help you gain stars. Healing potions help you restore the health of the character. 

Check The Weapon Details

All the weapons in Epic Merge have different damage outputs and cooldowns. Cooldown – the shorter it is, the faster you can strike. Damage – the higher the DMG, the more DMG you can inflict on the enemies. Some weapons take two slots, while some take three. I recommend putting the high DMG weapons in the inventory/slots to inflict more DMG. Tap the item to check its details. 

Items like Pouches and Healing Potions are Useful

Pouches can help you earn more stars that you can use to reroll items. Healing Potions are a must – you need heavy healing in the late game, so don’t waste healing potions and merge them. Shield can help you survive longer.

Choosing The Right Skill

You can pick skills during the battle progression: watch the video ad to claim them all. The skills that can amplify the DMG and armor are helpful. 

Getting Stronger In Epic Merge

• Talent Cards
  • Draw talent cards with the coins. These cards can amplify your DMG, luck, star reward, critical chance, dodge rate, lifesteal, max health, etc.
• Gear Up
  • You can get the equipment from the chests. Equip the best ones you have and raise the character’s stats.
  • Upgrade the equipment to raise stats.
• Upgrade the heroes
  • There are four currently: Flinto, Ryder, Axel, and Maple. Each one has a unique ability. The first one is free – Flinto. 
  • You can upgrade heroes once you have their fragments/blueprints(it’s hard to obtain the blueprints)

Battle Tips

• Reroll Wisely
  • You need to pump up the DMG, so pick the weapons with the highest DMG and focus on merging them.
  • Expand your slots whenever you get the free slot
  • Think twice before rerolling; check if you have the items you can merge. 
  • Must have healing potions, pouches, and shields. 
  • Reroll for free if you have the option to watch the video ad
• Choose Skill Wisely
  • Whenever you get the option to choose the skill, read the skill details and pick the one that you think can be useful. 
  • Watch the video ad to claim all.
• Revive
  • The more waves you clear, the more rewards you get. So if you lose all HP, watch the video ad to revive and get one more chance
• Gear Up
  • Before starting the battle, check the gear inventory. Pick the equipment with better stats. If there is an upgrade available, make it. 

Recon

• Recon bonus allows you to claim the AFK rewards.
• Tap the recon button in the lower-right side -> claim. You can earn diamonds, coins, gears, scrolls, and more(clear more chapters and stages to increase the reward)
• When you don’t have the time to play, log in and use the quick recon function to earn the rewards instantly.

Get The Freebies

• Go to the shop, and there you can claim free chests, coins, gems, and more by watching the video ads
• Log in daily for a free reward

Epic Merge Equipment Guide

You can equip six types of equipment to the hero:

• Weapon
  • Increases ATK stats
• Armor
  • Increases HP
• Boots
  • Increases dodge chance
• Helmet
  • Increases shield/armor
• Belt
  • Increases ATK SPD
• Gloves
  • Increases stats like CRIT chance

Equipment Rarity:

• Epic > Rare > Uncommon > Common
• Don’t waste resources in upgrading the common/uncommon equipment. Replace them with epic ones once you get them. 

You can get equipment from AFK rewards, and chests are available in the shop. Epic rarity equipment has the best stats. 

Merging

Gear -> Blacksmith. You can merge the same quality and the same type of equipment to get one higher-grade piece of equipment. For instance, merge uncommon equipment to get rare equipment. Merge rare equipment to get high-grade equipment.

Upgrading Equipment

• Don’t waste resources upgrading low-quality equipment
• You need gold and blueprints to upgrade the equipment
• Obtain gold and blueprints by playing the game, AFK rewards, chests, and the shop

Challenge Mode

Tap the Challenge option in the lower-right corner. There, you can fight the bosses and farm resources. Boss duel rewards are based on your rankings. Participating in the Challenge mode can earn gems, coins, and chest keys.
