Catch a Monster Bosses Guide: Location & Drops

Catch a Monster Bosses Guide

Bosses are the key to unlocking high-tier monsters in Catch a Monster. Each boss drops a guaranteed egg that hatches into the boss itself, along with big EXP and Coin gains that make them essential for fast progression. Since only one boss can spawn at a time and their timers rotate every 15 minutes, knowing where they appear and what they drop is the fastest way to strengthen your team. This guide breaks down every active boss, their spawn points, and why you should farm them.

Flaragon – Volcano Island

  • Found inside the volcano, standing on a lava-surrounded platform.
  • Drops the Pyroclasm Egg, which always hatches into Flaragon.

Glazadon – Frost Isle

  • Spawns at the top of the Frost Isle mountain near the energy-beam portal.
  • Drops the Glacier Egg, which always hatches into Glazadon.
  • Considered the strongest boss reward in the current game because Glazadon has exceptional damage output once hatched.

Mountusk – Frost Isle

  • Appears in the exact same spot as Glazadon, also near the portal.
  • Drops the Sprout Egg, which always hatches into Mountusk.
  • Highly valued for its massive health pool, making it a reliable tank for boss fights.

Flarecrest – Skyheart Isle (Event)

  • Spawned during the Thanksgiving Event in the Skyheart Isle event zone.
  • Drops the Turkey Egg, along with Coins and Feathers.
  • Always hatches into Flarecrest, one of the hardest original bosses due to its huge HP pool.
  • No longer spawns normally, but the egg can reappear during Admin Abuse events.

Boss Spawn Rules

  • Only one boss may be active at a time.
  • A new boss can spawn every 15 minutes, but there is no fixed order.
  • A broadcast message appears whenever one spawns, letting everyone know which boss has arrived.

Which Boss Should You Farm?

  • Best overall: Glazadon, due to its top-tier damage.
  • Best tank: Mountusk, thanks to high HP and strong survivability.
  • Easiest early farm: Flaragon, since Volcano Island is simpler to navigate and the arena is accessible without mounts.

Can You Fight These Bosses Without a Flying Mount?

  • Yes. Frost Isle’s summit can be reached on foot by carefully navigating the cliffside obby.

Who Gets the Drop?

  • Rewards are random. The final hit often secures the egg, but players can still receive the reward even without landing the last strike.

If you focus on Glazadon and Mountusk early, you’ll quickly build a team capable of clearing all current content in Catch a Monster.

So that’s all for now in this Catch a Monster Bosses Guide.
