Some mutations appear randomly in the world, while others can only be obtained during specific weather events or by using certain mechanics. Because of this, collecting the best mutations requires patience, timing, and a bit of luck. Below you’ll find a complete list of all known Catch and Tame mutations along with their multipliers and how players can obtain them.

How to Identify Mutated Pets
Mutated pets usually have small visual differences compared to their normal versions. Some mutations change colors or add glowing effects, making them easier to recognize when exploring the map.
However, certain mutations such as Bloodbound, Fractured, and Cosmic have very subtle appearance changes. Because of this, the most reliable way to confirm a mutation is by checking the pet’s name.
When an animal has a mutation, a label will appear directly under its name. For example, if you catch a Gold mutation, the word “Gold” will appear below the pet’s name. Keeping an eye on these labels helps ensure you don’t miss valuable mutations like Neon or Shiny.
Mutation Diffuser Explained
The Mutation Diffuser is a special machine available in the Buildings section of the shop. This structure lets you control the visual effects of mutations on your pets.
- You can disable all mutation visual effects.
- You can keep only specific visual effects active.
- Turning effects off does not remove the multiplier bonuses.
This makes the Mutation Diffuser useful if you want to keep your pen looking clean while still benefiting from powerful mutations.
