Glorp(Alien NPC near Rosalit Bay Crash Site, GPS: 1521, 141, 333) won’t speak to you at all until you craft a Translator, and even after that, he sends you on a heavy grind for Gleebous Mutated Fish. How to Speak With Glorp
Before Glorp acknowledges you, you must craft the Translator Machine. This requires three items:
- Device Display
- Translator Core
- Communication Circuit

Dr. Crookspine gives you these objectives after you bring him a Gleebous Mutation Fish, which is caught near Roslit Bay. Once you deliver that fish, he asks for the three components listed above. Each part is fished from a different location, and all of them have low drop rates. After turning everything in and receiving the Translator, return to Glorp. He will finally speak and open the questline.
How to Get the Blade of Glorp
Once communication is established, Glorp assigns a single task:
- Catch 15 Gleebous Mutated Fish.
To do this efficiently:
- Head to Roslit Bay and locate Gleebous Mutation Pools using your Fish Radar.
- Equip your strongest rod—whatever top-tier rod you own. High-Luck rods perform noticeably better here.
- If you can, roll the Mutated Enchantment, then drop a Mutation Totem to raise the odds.
- Expect a grind. The mutation has roughly a 5% application rate, meaning you will be fishing for a while. There are no shortcuts; every fish must be earned.
After catching all 15, return to Glorp. He rewards you with the Blade of Glorp and the Gorp Saucer.
