Update 8.5 introduces 4 new units, a Frozen Volcano dungeon, multiple events, and new player rewards. Worldlines has been reset for Season 7, and returning and new players receive special login rewards. Additional features include customizable currency displays, new mounts, familiars, codes, and over 30 quality-of-life improvements along with more than 45 bug fixes.

The Update 8.5 for Roblox Anime Vanguards was released on September 16th, 2025, at 04:21 PM EDT. This is the first major update of September 2025, and it brings 4 new units, 4 new events, a new dungeon, and much more.
Anime Vanguards Update 8.5 Codes

Anime Vanguards Update 8.5 Changes & New Content
New Units
- Vanguard Quest: Brolzi Super
- Special Banner: Lord Friezo
- Dungeon Drop: Rogita
- Worldlines Floor 50: Wolf (Resurrection)
New Dungeon – Frozen Volcano
- Features Brolzi, Roku, and Vogita clashing while players fight waves of Namakian Soldiers.
- Dungeon Rewards:
- Dragon Tokens
- Remote Quest Evolution items
- 20% chance to obtain Rogita if only Friezo is equipped
- New Innocent Wrath OST
- Modifier Cards (choose 1 every 5 waves):
- Tyrant Destroyer: Friezo Boss spawns at half health
- Sphere Finder: Start with 2 Dragon Spheres
- High Class: Start with 10,000 Yen; +40% income
- Tyrant Arrives: First unit upgrades and placements free; Monarch trait applied
- Dragon Spheres: Boss Friezo spawns every 3 waves; defeat him to get 1 Dragon Ball

- Trait Rerolls
- Remote Quest Evolution item

New Events
- 4 brand-new events with additional returning events.
- Event Calendar allows tracking of each event’s duration and tasks.
Worldlines Season 7
- Worldlines progress reset.
- Monkey King removed; Wolf (Resurrection) added as new Floor 50 reward.
- Corresponding floor rewards, including Trait Rerolls, are again claimable.
Player Rewards
- New Player Rewards: Special login calendar with 220+ Trait Rerolls, Ackers Unit, and resources for early evolution.
- Returning Player Rewards: Players absent for 3+ weeks receive a special login reward calendar with 220+ Trait Rerolls and other valuable resources.
Customizable Currency Display
- Players can now select which currencies appear on-screen, including Gold, Gems, Trait Rerolls, Monarch Tokens, Iced Tea, and more.
- Up to 5 currencies can be displayed simultaneously.
New Mounts & Familiar
- Mounts: Cucumber, The Immortal
- Familiar: Chili
New Codes
- 3 new redeemable codes added (rewards vary in-game).
Quality-of-Life & Bug Fixes
- 30+ changes and improvements across gameplay and UI.
- 45+ bugs fixed including combat, shop, and event-related issues.
