Azure Latch Yukimiya Update Summary
The latest Azure Latch update completely reworks Yukimiya with a new moveset, three Flow variations, and several new mechanics. The update also improves ranked matchmaking, introduces two limited-time bundles, adds new jerseys and voice lines, announces the upcoming Mastery system, and includes a new redeem code.
Azure Latch Yukimiya Update Patch Notes
Yukimiya Rework
Yukimiya has been completely reworked with a new type of Ego, updated abilities, and additional Flow options. Several of his moves now include new mechanics, counters, and follow-up attacks.
- Predator Eye (T)
- Shows the exact path your Gyro Shot will follow.
- Quickens the windup of Gyro Shot.
- Doubles the parry frames of Street Tag.
- Gyro Shot (1)
- The standard Gyro Shot returns.
- The timed version has been reworked.
- Time the first input during the windup, then press it again while the shot is travelling to perform Pierce Through.
- Press T during the windup while in Flow to perform Pacifist Shot.
- Drag Scissors (2)
- Fakes in one direction before sprinting past opponents.
- A successful fake grants a second set of counter frames during the sprint.
- Successfully tackling the sprint after the first counter triggers the old Cut-In counter.
- Razor Break (3)
- New dribbling move with 3 charges.
- Can be used in all 8 directions.
- Can cancel other moves early.
- Street Tag (4)
- Counter move where Yukimiya weaves around opponents.
- Includes a parry variant.
- Street-Style Dribbling (5)
- Can only be used near at least one opponent.
- Unlocks enhanced versions of several moves while in Flow.
- Drag Scissors becomes Lane Splitter.
- Razor Break becomes Full Breakthrough.
- Street-Style Dribbling becomes Street Dribble or Ultimate Gyro Shot.
Yukimiya Flows
Yukimiya now comes with three different Flows, giving players multiple ways to use the style during matches.

- Original On-Ball Flow.
- Teammate Steal Flow.
- Overtime Flow (works on and off the ball).
Ranked Optimizations
The ranked matchmaking system has been improved to reduce queue times and make matchmaking more efficient.
- Matchmaking Changes
- Queue system has been rebuilt for faster matchmaking.
- Cross-server matchmaking now only matches players from the same region.
Limited-Time Bundles
Two new bundles are available for a limited time, each containing exclusive rewards.

Upcoming Mastery System
The developers announced a new Mastery system that replaces the old quest-based unlock method. Instead of completing lengthy quests across multiple styles, players will unlock Masteries simply by playing matches using the corresponding style.
- Mastery System Features
- Earn Mastery EXP by playing the selected style.
- Basic actions such as scoring, stealing, and dribbling award EXP.
- Style-specific actions award even more EXP.
- Mastery Road will also include rewards like Currency, Emotes, and Titles.
- Masteries are planned for Aiku and Kaiser.
- Mastery Don may also receive the new system in the future.
- VIP server Mastery progression may also be added.
