The Submerged Expansion Update expands the Submerged Island, raises the level cap, reworks the Bomb Fruit, and introduces new summer-themed gacha skins. A new Gold Whirlpool event offers hourly treasure hunts for Summer Tokens, and 11 new fish types have been added to the fishing index. The update also adds a challenging Predator Mythical Fish hunting mechanic and a Fishing Tournament Weekend for competitive play, with increased max fishing level.

The Submerged Expansion Update for Roblox Blox Fruits was released on September 20th, 2025, at 11:00 AM EDT. This will be the 5th of 6 updates that the developers are releasing on a weekly basis.

- Golden whirlpools spawn randomly on the map.
- Players fish treasures from whirlpools to earn Summer Tokens.

- 5 Regular Fish
- 1 Event Fish
- 2 Mythical Fish
Predator Mythical Fish Hunting
- Predator attacks may occur during whirlpool fishing, increasing difficulty and excitement.
Fishing Tournament Weekend
- Register by catching and submitting at least 3 Golden Carp to the Tournament Master NPC.
- Compete on the leaderboard with your heaviest fish for exclusive rewards.
Additional Changes
- Max Fishing Level increased to 100.
