Grow a Garden Chicken Zombie Update & Blood Moon Details
🐔 Chicken Zombie (a.k.a. Chicken Jockey)
The highlight of this update is the new Chicken Zombie pet, also known as the Chicken Jockey. The best part? Everyone gets it for free as soon as the update goes live!
What it does:
- Every 29 minutes, there’s a 20.40% chance it turns a nearby fruit into a zombie version.
- It also boosts egg hatch speed by 10.20%.
It’s a cool little helper for automating things, especially if you’re into hatching eggs. Just a heads-up: if you start trading these with others, they can stack up fast.
🧺 New Inventory System
The inventory has been completely revamped. Now items are neatly sorted into tabs like:
- All Items
- Seeds
- Roots
- Gears
- Pets
It’s much easier to navigate. Also, if you search something (like “Night Staff”), it remembers your search even after you close and reopen your inventory. Super handy.
🌕 Blood Moon Crops & Shop
A new event, the Blood Moon, happens every 3 hours. During it, you can:
- Grow bloodlit fruits
- Buy exclusive crops and items
Blood Moon-only items:
- Moon Melon and Blood Banana seeds
- Mysterious Crates (cannot be opened until the cosmetic update drops next week — and once placed, they’re stuck)
- Pets like the Blood Kiwi, Blood Hedgehog, and Blood Owl
- Night Egg & Seed Packs (might change later)
Be cautious with Mysterious Crates — don’t rush to place them.
⭐ New Gear: Star Collar
The Star Collar is a new gear that works like a lightning rod during Starfall events. It increases the chance that a star lands near your crops — useful for unlocking the Celestial mutation, which gives crops a glowing orange effect.
Place these near valuable crops when Starfall happens!
🐾 New Pets & Passives
From Blood Moon Shop:
- Blood Kiwi – Price not confirmed yet
- Blood Hedgehog – Makes prickly fruits 2.02x bigger and boosts variant chance by 1.16x
- Blood Owl – Gives all active pets 0.53 XP per second
From Night Egg:
- Red Giant Ant – 5.13% chance to duplicate crops (especially fruit)
- Red Fox – Every 10 mins, steals a random seed from another player
- Brown Mouse – Gives bonus XP every 8 mins and boosts your jump height by 10.12%
- Squirrel – 2.53% chance to plant seeds without using them
The Red Fox and Squirrel are especially strong — they can change how you farm.
🌈 New Rarity: Prismatic Seeds
A new super rare seed tier called Prismatic is here, starting with the Beantock seed. It costs 715 Robux and sells for a lot — about 99,000 even without buffs.
Use sprinklers wisely here to get the most out of them. The updated inventory search helps place them quicker too.
✨ Celestial Mutation
If you’re farming during a Starfall, your crops have a chance to get the Celestial mutation — a glowing orange effect. It looks amazing and probably boosts the crop’s value too.
🩸 Blood Moon Reminder
The Blood Moon doesn’t just change the sky — it also brings limited-time items and event-only crops. Make sure to check the Blood Moon Shop while it’s active!
