Wizard Alchemy Solar Flare Recipe Guide
In Wizard Alchemy, the Solar Flare spell is one of the most powerful endgame crafts, and unlocking it requires collecting 4 hidden fragments scattered across the Sea of Oblivion map. These fragments are not simply lying around — some are hidden in the environment, while others are locked behind NPC quests and boss fights.
Once all fragments are collected, they unlock a special crafting slot at the Alchemy Table, allowing you to attempt brewing Solar Flare.
All Sola Flare Recipe Fragment Locations in Wizard Alchemy
Fragment 1 – Wizard Statue Hidden Shard
The first fragment is hidden very close to the spawn area and is easy to miss if you don’t adjust your camera properly.
- Go to the Spawn location in Sea of Oblivion
- Find the Wizard Statue holding a book
- Turn your camera toward the Alchemy Table direction
- Use your broom to fly upward behind the statue’s book
- Collect the hidden fragment floating behind it
- This shard is purely exploration-based and does not require any combat.
Fragment 2 – Waterfall Pillar Shard
The second fragment is located in a hidden safe zone near the lava waterfall region, specifically behind structural terrain.
- Travel to the area with the lava waterfall
- Look for the only non-lava section (water zone)
- Fly toward the right pillar beside the waterfall
- Land near or on the water surface
- Collect the hidden fragment behind the pillar
- This shard is slightly hidden but does not require any quest completion.
Fragment 3 – Geographer Hans Quest Fragment
The third fragment is obtained through a combat quest given by Geographer Hans.
- Find Geographer Hans NPC straight from spawn
- He is located near a large orange crystal and is constantly moving
- Accept his quest (choose the second dialogue option)
- Quest Objective:
- Fly to the two small islands on the left side of the lava waterfall
- Defeat the Mutant Iron Axe Orc Boss
- Return to Hans after defeating the boss
- Once completed, Hans rewards you with the third fragment.
Fragment 4 – Lava Behemoth Boss
The final fragment is dropped by the Lava Behemoth boss.
- Travel to the lava waterfall region
- Enter the mine on the left side
- Defeat the Lava Behemoth Boss
- This is the hardest fragment to obtain and may require group support due to the boss’s difficulty.
Important Note About Fragments
After collecting all 4 fragments, they will disappear from your inventory. This is intentional and not a bug. Instead of remaining as items, they permanently unlock the Solar Flare recipe slot at the Alchemy Table.
Solar Flare Brewing Requirements
- Minimum 245 Magic Points required
- High-tier materials recommended (Epic and Legendary)
- Examples include:
- Golem Cores
- Lava Behemoth Remains
- Less than 1% base success chance
Even after unlocking the recipe, crafting Solar Flare is heavily RNG-based, making it one of the rarest and most valuable spells in Wizard Alchemy.
