How to Unlock Shady Bazaar in Fisch (Location Guide)
Shady Bazaar in Fisch is a secret hidden area added in the update released on May 23rd, 2026. Unlike regular locations, it is not directly accessible from the map and requires players to complete a full investigation chain involving NPC interactions, timed spawns, item collection, and a dialogue puzzle.
The entire process is designed around exploration and hidden clues, so missing even one NPC or timing window can slow your progress significantly. Below is a complete step-by-step breakdown to unlock the Shady Bazaar efficiently.
Step 1: Start at Moosewood
Your journey begins in Moosewood, the main starting area [350, 135, 250]. This is where the entire questline is triggered.
- Go to Moosewood town
- Activate a Sundial Totem before starting the quest
- This helps trigger nighttime NPC spawns required for progression
- After activating it, move toward the lighthouse area (686, 168, 302)
Step 2: Locate the Moosewood Trapdoor
Before entering the deeper questline, you need to understand the hidden entry point used later in the puzzle.
- The Moosewood Trapdoor is located inside the lighthouse staircase building (next to the NPC inside the lighthouse).
- Coordinates: (686, 168, 302)
- It appears as a simple wooden floor trapdoor
- No button or prompt is visible until quest conditions are met
This trapdoor will later become your entry point into the Shady Bazaar.
Step 3: Find the Restless Residents
The next phase involves tracking down hidden NPCs across Moosewood during nighttime. These NPCs spawn on a timed cycle and provide key items needed to progress.
You will first interact with Lighthouse NPC inside the house. This starts a quest chain requiring you to find three characters:
- Watchman
- Lantern Figure
- Diver
Each NPC spawns at night with a 3-minute interval between appearances.
NPC Spawn Order & Rewards
- Watchman
- Location: (504.7, 154.4, 377.4)
- Spawns at the start of night
- Despawns after 3 minutes
- Reward: Crown Feather Charm
- Lantern Figure
- Location: (641.1, 166.5, 222.7)
- Spawns 3 minutes after Watchman
- Reward: Tarnished Lantern
- Diver
- Location: (509.3, 152.0, 300.8)
- Spawns 3 minutes after Lantern Figure
- Reward: Barnacled Hook
Make sure to collect all three items from these three characters, as they are required to progress to the puzzle section.
Step 4: Equip Quest Items & Enter Puzzle Phase
Once you have collected all items, equip them one by one from your inventory before returning to the Moosewood Trapdoor.
- Equip Crown Feather Charm
- Equip Tarnished Lantern
- Equip Barnacled Hook
- Return to the trapdoor location
- Talk to the Lighthouse NPC again.
Step 5: Dialogue Puzzle Solution
The Lighthouse NPC will ask three questions based on NPC dialogue clues. You must select the correct answers to proceed. Choosing incorrectly will block progression until you retry.
- Question: What does light do?
- Answer: “Light keeps honest folk safe.”
- Question: And the sea?
- Answer: “The sea gives things up eventually.”
- Question: And trust?
- Answer: “Trust isn’t given down there. It’s survived.”
Step 6: Entering the Shady Bazaar
Once all answers are selected correctly, the trapdoor will automatically unlock. You can then descend the staircase and meet the Bazaar Guard.
- Interact with the Bazaar Guard
- Continue forward through the passage
- You will officially enter the Shady Bazaar
Fisch’s Shady Bazaar serves as a hidden trading and interaction hub, rewarding players who complete its secret investigation chain with access to exclusive content and NPCs.
