Last War Survival Best Hero Tier List
First, let’s get started with the basics. The heroes in this game are classified into three vehicle/weapon types:
- Tank
- Missile
- Aircraft
And all these heroes belong to one of these three roles:
- DMG Dealers: These heroes possess skills that can inflict massive DMG on the enemies
- Defense: These heroes possess defensive abilities that reduce DMG taken and increase Defense. These heroes have high DEF attributes.
- Support: These heroes provide various buffs to teammates, such as DMG booster and increased HP/ATK/DEF attributes. They are not good at inflicting or absorbing DMG but can be very useful.
Not all the heroes are worth investing in. I have ranked all the heroes in a tier list to help you determine who the best hero is in the Last War Survival game.
Last War Survival Best Hero Tier List: DMG Dealers
- DVA
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: BEST. She is the best DMG dealer hero in the game.
- Morrison
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: BEST. He can inflict massive DMG on the enemies and also reduce their DEF.
- Tesla
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: BEST. The best missile type DMG dealer and a must for a good missile team formation.
- Fiona
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: BEST. Another of the best DMG dealer heroes in Last War Survival. Fiona has skills and attributes that cause massive DMG on the enemies.
- Raging Marksman MASON
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG to the enemies using a minigun. Passive boosts back-row Tank Heroes’ DMG. Expertise skill increase self HP, ATK, and Defense.
- Grade: SSR
- PvE Tier: Good. Mason is pretty good in PvE (against Zombies).
- PvP Tier: Mason does not do well in PvP. His performance as a DMG dealer is not that great when fighting against a high-ranked player.
- Rocket Shadow Kimberly
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: UR
- Skills: Inflicts energy DMG. Passive boosts energy DMG.
- Tier Ratings: Very Good DMG Dealer. Her impressive DMG output makes her one of the best DMG dealers in the game. She can inflict single-target and AoE DMG with her skills.
- Thumper Maxwell
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflicts PHY DMG. Tactics skill help you lock and target the front-row unit + stun the target. Passive boosts hero’s DMG.
- Tier Ratings: Average. His DMG output is average compared to the top-tier DMG dealers. The tactical skill that prioritizes front-row unit and stuns the target can be helpful. Overall, an average DMG dealer with niche uses.
- Acid Surge VENOM
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Energy DMG, Poison DMG, DoT (Damage over Time)
- Tier Ratings: Average to decent. He is usable if you don’t have UR/top-tier DMG dealers. Average performance as a DMG dealer overall. As an SSR grade, he is decent.
- Blaster BRAZ
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. AoE DMG. Boosts DMG to monsters.
- Tier Ratings: Below-Average. He is a below-average missile-type DMG dealer hero. There are better heroes in the game.
- Intrepid Man RICHARD
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Boosts ATK.
- Tier RATINGS: Decent to Good tier DMG Dealer. He can inflict a decent amount of DMG on the enemies.
- Sand Hawk FARHAD
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. AoE strike. Boosts ATK (Self).
- Tier Ratings: Average to Decent. There are better DMG dealers in the game; don’t invest too many resources in building him.
- Wild Fighter Kane
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Prioritize targeting up to two front-row units, with each inflicting DMG.
- Tier Ratings: BAD. Don’t bother investing in him. He is not a good DMG dealer.
- Amboly
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Grade: SR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Prioritize targeting up to two front-row units, with each inflicting DMG.
- Tier Ratings: BAD. Don’t bother investing in him. He is not a good DMG dealer.
- Schuyler
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: Very Good, but not the best. She inflicts a good amount of energy DMG on the enemies with auto-ATK and tactical skill. With tactic skill, she can stun the target. Passive increases ATK.
- Swift
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DMG Dealer
- Tier Ratings: Very Good, but not the best. Swift’s skills are heavy on the DMG aspect, as they should be for a DMG dealer role hero.
Last War Survival Best Hero Tier List: Defensive
- Williams
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Defense
- Tier Ratings: Best. A fantastic defense role hero with skills that reduce DMG taken and increase DEF. Impressive skill kit and attributes.
- Carlie
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: Defense
- Tier Ratings: Best. Versatile aircraft-type hero with superb skill kit and attributes. She possesses offense as well as defense abilities.
- Adam
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: Defense
- Tier Ratings: Excellent. He possesses counter DEF skill that reflect DMG on the enemies. On top of that, he can boost DEF.
- Lucius
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: Defense
- Tier Ratings: Very Good, but not the best. A great aircraft-type hero to have on the team. He can boost DMG reduction for front-row heroes and allies. Auto-ATK strikes a random target in the front row.
- Battlefield Nova GUMP
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Defense
- Skills: Inflicts PHY DMG. Expertise skill increase self HP/ATK/DEF.
- Grade: SR
- Tier Ratings: BAD. Do not invest in this hero.
- Unyielding Warrior MURPHY
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Defense
- Grade: UR
- Skills: Inflicts PHY DMG. Boosts the PHY DMG reduction of the front-row units. Reduces all DMG taken for front-row units.
- Tier Ratings: Very Good. His skill kit is impressive – passive skill reduces the DMG taken for the units deployed in the front row. Cannon Fire skill cause PHY DMG. Ironclad Barrier skill gives PHY protection to front-row units.
- Hardcore Fighter CAGE
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Grade: SSR
- Role: Defense
- Skills: Inflicts energy DMG. Boosts front-row Defense for a few seconds. Passive reduces the hero’s DMG taken from monsters.
- Tier Ratings: Decent (Above-average). He is a decent hero and can help you in the early to mid-game. His buff skill that boosts front-row Defense is quite helpful. His passive allows him to survive longer by reducing the DMG taken from Monsters.
- Potion Mistress VIOLET
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Defense
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG by spraying toxic gas. Shirorororo. Prioritizes attacking the front two units, inflicting PHY DMG and reduce the target’s ATK. Reduce this hero’s DMG taken from Monsters.
- Tier Ratings: Good. She can be transcended to UR grade. Her skill kit is excellent – inflict DMG, reduce target’s ATK, reduce hero’s DMG taken.
- Frostbound Goddess ELSA
- Vehicle Type: Missile
- Role: DEFENSE
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Unleash ice strikes that slow down enemies and inflict energy DMG. Reduces DMG taken for front units. Reduce the hero’s DMG taken from Monsters.
- Tier Ratings: Decent. Compared to other top-tier DEFENSE role heroes, she is decent. Her skill kit includes DMG dealing abilities, CC/Crowd Control effects, and DMG reduction passive.
- Loki
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Defense
- Grade: SR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Prioritize targeting up to two front-row units, with each inflicting DMG.
- Tier Ratings: BAD. Don’t bother investing in him. He is not a good.
Last War Survival Best Hero Tier List: Supporters
- Marshall
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Support
- Grade: UR
- Tier Ratings: Best. He can increase other heroes’ DMG and he is the best at it. Versatile support role character.
- Machinegun Phantom SARAH
- Vehicle Type: Aircraft
- Role: Buff/Support
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Boost the DMG against Monsters for three back-row units. Reduce the hero’s DMG taken from Monsters.
- Tier Ratings: Average to Decent. She is helpful at many stages and can be a part of your aircraft team.
- Staff Officer MONICA
- Vehicle Type: Tank
- Role: Buff/Support
- Grade: SSR
- Skills: Inflict PHY DMG. Boosts DMG against monsters. After your squad defeats Ironhead, Glutton, Miser, and Doom Elites, the Coins, Food, and Iron resources gained increase by 77%*.
- Tier Ratings: Niche uses. Overall below-average. She has minimal use; invest in other better support heroes. She can help you initially as a support hero, but you will not require her services later.

So that’s all I have in this Last War Survival tier list for heroes. New updates to this game will add more heroes and may change existing heroes’ stats.
