Run For Brainrots Mutations & Multipliers
Mutations in Run For Brainrots are one of the most important mechanics if you want to increase your earnings quickly. Each mutation boosts both the earning rate and selling value of your Brainrot, while also giving it a unique visual appearance.
There are currently four different mutations in the game. Some can appear naturally, while others are tied to limited-time events. If you’re aiming to farm efficiently, focusing on high-multiplier mutations like Ruby and Neon will make a huge difference.

- Gold Mutation
- Multiplier: 1.75x earnings and sale value
- Appearance: Yellow color with “Golden” text above the Brainrot
- How to Get:
- Small chance to spawn naturally across all areas
- Higher spawn rate during the Golden Rush event
- Diamond Mutation
- Multiplier: 2x earnings and sale value
- Appearance: Blue color with “Diamond” text above the Brainrot
- How to Get:
- Low chance to appear naturally
- Much more common during the Diamond Dominion event
- Ruby Mutation
- Multiplier: 2.5x earnings and sale value
- Appearance: Bright red color with “Ruby” text above the Brainrot
- How to Get:
- Can spawn naturally, but less frequently than Gold and Diamond
- Higher chance during the Ruby Rampage event
- Neon Mutation
- Multiplier: 5x earnings and sale value
- Appearance: Glowing effect with “Neon” text above the Brainrot
- How to Get:
- Only available during the Neon Night event
- Does not spawn naturally
- Very low spawn chance even when the event is active
Gold and Diamond mutations are the most common, and you’ll see them frequently while exploring different areas. Ruby is slightly rarer but still obtainable without relying entirely on events.
The Neon mutation, however, is extremely rare and requires patience. Even during the Neon Night event, finding one is difficult, so it’s best to search in high-rarity zones where better spawns are more likely.
Events play a key role in farming mutations. There are four main events — Golden Rush, Diamond Dominion, Ruby Rampage, and Neon Night. These events occur every 15 minutes and last for 5 minutes, significantly increasing the chances of mutated Brainrots spawning.
To stay efficient, keep an eye on the event board at the spawn area. Planning your farming route around upcoming events is one of the best ways to consistently get high-value mutations.
