Fisch KING CRABSTLE Update Summary
The latest Fisch update expands the ongoing Fischfest event with a brand-new roaming encounter, two new mastery paths, additional Sand Castle challenges, and several quality-of-life improvements. Players can also redeem a new code for free rewards, while the developers have confirmed that both the Drylands update and the 4th of July event will arrive next week.
Fisch KING CRABSTLE Update Patch Notes
King Crabstle Event
A mysterious new event has arrived featuring King Crabstle.
- King Crabstle can appear anywhere along the beach.
- Watch for suspicious activity to locate him.
- Once awakened, he’ll begin a chase.
- He is known for collecting and dropping Sunshells, making him a valuable event encounter.
New Shady Appraiser
A new NPC called the Shady Appraiser has opened shop inside the Shady Bazaar.
- Specializes in identifying rare and valuable mutations.
- Provides a faster way to identify valuable catches.
- The service is expensive but saves significant time.
New Sand Castle Variations
The Sand Castle activity has been expanded with additional challenge types.
- Multiple new Sand Castle designs have been added.
- Builds are now separated into different difficulty tiers.
- Each difficulty features its own construction time limits.
New Masteries
Two brand-new mastery paths are now available.
- Lullaby Mastery
- Complete a dedicated questline to unlock it.
- Rewards players with a unique prize upon completion.
- Castbound Mastery
- Offers a balanced progression path.
- Focuses on providing a little bit of everything across its bonuses.
Bestiary Improvements
- Hidden Bestiary locations now include helpful discovery hints.
- Finding undiscovered fishing locations is now much easier.

Balance Changes
- Keeperbound Affixes Buff
- Limited Relic Keeperbound Affixes have been improved.
- They now inherit some of the stats from their original relics, making them considerably stronger.
- Floatie Rod Changes
- Reduced excessive True Progress Speed bonuses.
- Added Forced Progress Speed to create a more balanced Progress Speed distribution.
- Unbreakable Enchantment Buff
- Now grants an additional +50 Durability.
- Fischfest Merchant
- Exchange rates have been improved, allowing players to receive better value for event currencies and items.
Lemonade Serenade Buffs
Lemonade Serenade has received several significant improvements.
- Luck increased from 150 → 230.
- Progress Speed increased from +25% → +40%.
- Lemon Mutation Chance increased from 20% → 33.33%.
- Lemon Mutation Value increased from 4x → 6.5x.
- Disturbance increased from 0 → 1.
- Added a brand-new passive ability.
MiguRod Mastery Changes
- Weight penalty reduced from -8.1% → -4.1%.
- Duplicate catches are no longer disabled when targeting passive-blocked fish.
Companion Changes
- Companion XP progression has been reworked.
- Total experience required to level Companions has been reduced by roughly 50%.
Bug Fixes & Quality of Life
- Massively improved inventory performance.
- Selling large numbers of fish is now nearly instant.
- Moving fish into storage is significantly faster.
- Large inventories now consume much less memory.
- The following rods can now properly receive Progress Speed buffs from Mella:
- Lemonade Serenade
- Crew Rod
- Noiseform
- Relic Construct will only display its interaction prompt while holding a relic after enchanting.
- Added Above the Clouds to the Traveler’s Whistle.
- Boot accessories have been separated into:
- Running Boots
- Heavy Boots
This allows both accessories to be equipped together.
- Winter Boots now have their own proper inventory icon.
