Appxplore(iCandy), well-known for publishing beautiful idle games such as Light a Way, Crab War, Thor: War of Tapnarok, has just released another beautiful idle game where you will be fighting the wraiths and deadly bosses. You can go up to max 1000 stage(or even more) in this game – at certain milestone stages, you will be rewarded with the premium masks, in-game currencies such as dust, crystals, etc. Speaking of gameplay, you will progress stage-by-stage. On every stage in Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen, you will encounter a deadly boss – the wraith boss battles are not like the normal battles. In the normal battles, you have infinite time to clear the wave. But, In the boss battles, you have to achieve victory within the given time.
It gets challenging as you progress further in the stage mode. Masketeers are the characters who fight wraiths and bosses. You will have to raise their strength by equipping runes, masks, making upgrades, building talents, etc. Other than that, you have Guardians, Wisps in the game who grants buffs and bonuses. Once you finish the 50th stage, you will unlock the relic function. At that time, you will get Arcana – it’s the in-game currency in Masketeers, which you use to summon the powerful relics. A player acquires arcana through transcending. The transcend feature unlocks when you finish the 60th stage. As you clear the stages, you will gain more Arcana.
The “transcend” functions work like the prestige function. It resets the progress and you will be given Arcana. The two things we didn’t discuss yet are runes and masks. Masketeers or the main characters can equip masks and runes. The masks and runes empower the characters. Masks provide unique stat boost that you can reroll with DUST – “DUST” is another in-game currency in Masketeers world. You can use it for rerolling mask’s stats or upgrading the mask. You can acquire DUST from the chests available in the store. Speaking of runes, they help Masketeers gain more stat. If you equip the same color runes – matching the color of mask, Masketeers will get the bonus stats.
Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen uses the “ORB” system – usually, you tap the screen to inflict more damage in similar types of idle games. But, In Masketeers: Idle Has Fallen, you will use the orb to help characters inflict more damage to wraiths. You can make combos and do bonus damage. As you level up Masketeers, you will get to chain more orbs and inflict massive damage. All these Masketeers or Characters also possess unqiue abilities that you should use at the right time; when facing a powerful wraith boss.
